Quiet Hour at Resorts World
After the success of our Quiet Hour during the festive season, we are pleased to introduce the Quiet Hour as a permanent addition to our building.
Through this initiative, we're aiming to create a calmer shopping environment for our autistic guests, guests with sensory needs and anyone who finds the hustle and bustle of shopping an uncomfortable experience.
During our Quiet Hour, there will be no music playing, the lights will be dimmed wherever possible, and the building will be made to feel calmer with minimal sounds and no announcements unless there is an emergency. We would ask all of our guests to be kind and respectful whilst visiting at these times and help us to make the Resorts World experience an enjoyable one for everyone.
The Quiet Hour will take place every Saturday from 10am - 11am.
Noise Defenders
Did you know that we have Sensory Ear Defenders available for children and young adults with Autism and Sensory Processing issues who are sensitive to noise and certain sounds? If you'd like to borrow one during your visit (limited availability), please speak to a member of our Guest Services team.
Cineworld Autism Friendly Screenings
Autism-friendly screenings will be taking place at our Cineworld on the first Sunday of each month. During these screenings, there will be limited trailers, lower sound and the lights will stay at a mid-level to create a relaxed atmosphere. Guests will also be able to bring their own food and drink with them.
