Free Dinosaur Fridays at Resorts World
Looking for some totally rawr-some family fun for the school holidays?
Head to our atrium and stomp into the summer holidays with free dinosaur-themed activities for the kids to enjoy every Friday from 24th July - 28th August!
They'll be able to meet a towering T-Rex, a mighty Stegosaurus, adorable baby dinos and more! The fun doesn't stop there, they can also enjoy ranger training, jurassic story-time, comedy acts and a dino picture hunt around the building.
Magic Russ will also be joining us every Friday from 11am - 3pm for balloon modelling with 50% of proceeds going to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Our popular Dino Hunt is also back and will be available 10am - 4pm every Friday with the main dinosaur activity taking place from 11am - 2.30pm. See the full schedule below.

24th July: Ranger Training & Meg The Stegosaurus
Ranger Training (5x 20 minute groups from 11.30am - 2.15pm)
Have you got what it takes to become a Dinosaur Ranger? Bring your Dino-Mites to Ranger Training Base Camp where they will learn how to look after and control our wild dinosaurs, with the help our qualified Rangers. Register at Dinosaur Base Camp for your spot on this exciting Ranger Training activity, approx. 20mins!
Meg The Stegosaurus (12pm & 1:55pm)
Stegosaurus dinosaurs are known for their impressive plates and spiky tails, making them one of the most recognisable gentle giants of the prehistoric world. Meet Meg, our magnificent Stegosaurus! She may look big and bold, but there’s no need to worry, Meg is calm, curious, and loves meeting new friends. Come along and say hello! Approx 20mins.
31st July: Story Time with Baby Dinos & Raptor
Storytime Adventures & Baby Dinosaur Meet and Greet (4x story times at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm & 2pm)
Settle in for a Jurassic story with one of our Official Dinosaur Rangers! Listen as they read one of their favourite Dinosaur themed tales and share in the fun as they bring the words to life. Approx. 30 mins each set.
Plus, don’t miss the Baby Dino Meet & Greet, where little dino fans can get up close and meet an adorable baby dinosaur - perfect for photos and unforgettable moments!
Raptor (12pm & 1pm)
With his piercing stare and rows of razor-sharp teeth, this raptor is a fascinating sight for children and adults alike… but don’t let that toothy grin fool you! He’s quick, clever, and a little bit unpredictable. Luckily, he’s always accompanied by a fully qualified Dinosaur Ranger who keeps him under control. Still young and in training, our raptor is learning fast, so come and see him in action! Approx 20mins.
7th August: Ranger Training & Spinosaurus

The Dinosaur Rangers will return for another week of Ranger Training! Bring your little ones to Ranger Training Base Camp where they will learn how to look after and control our wild dinosaurs, with the help our qualified Rangers. Spinosaurus (12pm & 1:55pm)
The Spinosaurus is one of the most striking dinosaurs, known for its towering sail and powerful presence. Watch as our incredible prehistoric predator roams around - an unmissable sight! Full of character and still in training, he keeps our Dinosaur Rangers on their toes, delivering plenty of thrilling, toothy encounters. Approx. 20mins.
14th August: Comedy Cavemen & Giant T-Rex
Comedy Cavemen (3 shows at 11.30am, 12:30pm & 2pm)
This pair of nutty Neanderthals bring their caveman car, complete with stone age music and sound effects, ready to cause some cavemen chaos! Prepare to watch out for their “Ugs” and “Ahhs” as they prepare to pull prehistoric pranks and create mayhem. If you don’t know much about cavemen, you will after seeing this nutty act as they find out who’s got the biggest muscles, who invented the wheel and much more.
Giant T-Rex (12pm & 1pm)
Don’t blink… don’t breathe… and absolutely do NOT move! Our towering Giant T‑Rex has broken loose and will be stomping his way through the crowds. With earth shaking footsteps, bone rattling roars and a grin full of razor‑sharp teeth, he’s on the hunt for brave explorers willing to get up close. Step forward if you dare... Approx. 20mins.
21st August: Ranger Training & Dilophosaurus
Ranger Training (5x 20 minute groups from 11.30am - 2.15pm)
The Dinosaur Rangers will be back for another action‑packed week of Ranger Training! Bring your little ones to Ranger Training Base Camp where they will learn how to look after and control our wild dinosaurs, with the help our qualified Rangers. Dilophosaurus (12pm & 1:55pm)
Meet our enchanting Dilophosaurus and watch with amazement as its frill flares ready to attack! Don’t panic, there’s no need to worry about a venomous attack just yet, although she does have a strong spitting action and you might get wet if you step into the firing line! Approx 20mins.
28th August: Comedy Cavemen & Brontosaurus

Meet our giant Brontosaurus, a super‑tall, long‑necked leaf‑muncher who LOVES meeting new friends! Watch it stretch way up high, swish its huge tail, and bring the Jurassic world bursting to life right in front of you. Approx 20 mins.
Our Dino activities are suitable for most ages. Children must be supervised at all times. Dino Hunt sheets can be collected from the event team in the atrium. Standard Resorts World parking charges apply.
