Time for sun: Our top sun spots at Resorts World

The warmer weather has been a long time coming but it feels like summer might finally be on its way. If, like us, you want to make the most of every bit of sunshine that comes our way this summer, we’ve rounded up our top sunspots and terraces here at Resorts World.

Best for: something different

The pinnacle of our sun spots, you’ll find the Secret Garden up on the fifth floor accessed via Sky By The Water. This secluded rooftop garden is complete with 7 cosy covered pods and a stunning indoor glass bar area. Look out for the Tanqueray butterfly wall too for that perfect selfie spot! Secret Garden serves include fizz, cocktails and a range of G+Ts, perfect for laid-back summer afternoons.

Best for: post-game breaks and milkshakes

Yep, even our family-friendly arcade up on the first floor has a terrace for you to relax and catch some rays between games. With new VR spheres launching this summer, Vortex is the place to be and after all that gaming, you’ll need a break. We recommend cooling off with the Vortex shake, complete with cream, sprinkles and candy corn.

Best for: sun worshippers

This is our secret Resorts World sun trap. Enjoy afternoon and early evening drinks (hello, craft ales and G&Ts!) overlooking the lake, or lap up the atmosphere before you head over to Resorts World Arena.

Best for: drinks with a view

That’s right, our rooftop bar and restaurant has not one but two outdoor terraces for you to soak up the sun. At the front of Sky By The Water, the balcony directly overlooks the lake and is the perfect sun trap for those summer afternoons. From here you can watch the views and enjoy carefully curated cocktails from the main bar menu.

Best for: Brazilian flavours

Hidden at the back of the restaurant is Las Iguanas’s very own sun spot, where you can sit back and enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails all day long. It’s also a great spot for some al fresco dining during those summer months; choose from Brazilian classics, tasty tapas and more.

Best for: lakeside dining

You can’t get much closer to our lovely lake than outside Pizza Express. Whether you prefer pizza, pasta or salad – they have it all on their new summer menu and there’s plenty of vegan and gluten free options too! Wash it down with their new Apple & Elderflower Fizz or Prosecco Gin Fizz for a refreshing summer treat.

Best for: a touch of glamour

Sit back and relax in the High Line terrace. Cocktail in hand, tapas just inside and laidback vibes. It’s open all year round and overlooking Resorts World Arena, it’s perfect for pre-show drinks or post-dinner coffees.

Here’s hoping for sunshine!
