A Night at the Genting Hotel

Our guest blogger, Sian Victoria, recently enjoyed a night in The Genting Hotel here in the Resort. Read all about her experience below…

After a relaxing couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon enjoying the facilities of Santai Spa, I checked into the Genting Hotel with my partner to stay the night at Resorts World. Firstly the staff at reception were lovely and we had a little giggle as we kept going to speak at the same time. We were booked into a Superior room with breakfast catered for in the Robata Bar & Grill in the morning. Our room was number 436, and as you walk in there is a large wardrobe with a fridge, ironing board, two robes, slippers, a hairdryer and a safe inside. There was also a great selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate and complimentary snacks along with a kettle and a coffee machine which we soon got going.

There was a large television with a personalised welcome message on the home screen which was a lovely touch, and there was also a good selection of channels too. In front of a large mirror by the floor to ceiling windows was a desk with a lamp and a super cosy seat which was great, as I had brought my laptop with me to catch up on work after a couple of hours being spoilt in the spa. The bathroom had perfect selfie lighting, and was very clean with fresh towels. There was a bath and a shower, along with some amazing fragranced complimentary toiletries, there was shampoo, conditioner, cleanse & moisturise and a body wash from the Heaven beauty brand by Deborah Mitchell.

After catching up on work, we then left the room to eat at Las Iguanas, it was 2 for 1 on cocktails and the South American style food was delicious. We then went to the Resort’s Cineworld and watched Bad Neighbours, it was hilarious and I totally recommend you to go and see it. After a peaceful night’s sleep in the deluxe double bed, I woke up to have a shower and sadly got our bag together to check out. We handed our bags over to the helpful concierge, so we didn’t need to carry them with us during breakfast and shopping at the resort afterwards.

There was a fantastic selection of continental food for breakfast at the Robata Bar & Grill. My partner had a full English breakfast with a jug of tea, while I had a super trendy breakfast bowl of fromage frais, granola, fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, dried fruits and nuts with a glass of orange juice and a croissant smothered with Nutella.

Our luxurious stay at the Genting Hotel was perfect, we had a great nights sleep with all the facilities we needed in the room and entertainment, food, nightlife and shopping all under one roof without having to leave the Resort.
