A Kid's Eye View

One of the most fun things we can think of to do as a family, is a trip to the cinema to watch the latest film and a delicious meal at one of our restaurants. We invited our baby guest blogger Olivia (she’s not actually a baby, she’s three going on 25) to visit the Resort and give us the low down on the latest family movie, in this case Kung Fu Panda 3, and the children’s menu at newly opened Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Here’s what she had to say about it…

“We went to Gourmet Burger Kitchen first (GBK) it was nice and busy and pretty inside. The ladies were nice to us. The children’s menu here is little but it’s still my favourite.

I had cheeseburger and chips and strawberry milkshake. Yummy yummy in my big tummy! I eat it all up! (Well, I did leave a little bit, but only because I was full).

Mummy loves it at GBK, she said it was delicious and that the portions were huge. She liked the taste of the food and she said we had good service.

I would give GBK five stars out of five! My Favourite thing about my meal was the milkshake, and the cheeseburger, and the chips and colouring…and mummy.”

The children’s menu at GBK offers delicious options for children, all at £6.95 for a burger, side and a drink. little ones will be treated to the chance to enjoy a little colouring in so you can eat your burger while they’re busy being artistic; everyone’s a winner.

“Then we went to the cinema, I liked it, there was sweets and it was glittery and shiny! They gave me a Munch Box, it had popcorn, sweeties and juice in it, it was yummy and I loved it. I was very excited to see Kung Fu Panda.”

*WARNING – SPOILER ALERT!*

“The pandas learn new tricks and beat the baddie and then they live happy ever after, the panda was my favourite because he was funny.

Mummy liked the film too, and she liked the cinema she said it was really clean and the staff were really nice. My favourite thing about going to Cineworld was mummy, sweeties and the funny panda.”

Kung Fu panda is showing at Cineworld now. The Munch Box Olivia enjoyed so much is available to all small people visiting the cinema for £3.50.
