Farringdon and Forbes - Retail Sales Assistant
A new luxury gift brand which opened its doors at Resorts World last October and we are looking for enthusiastic, professional and reliable staff for part time roles. This is an exciting opportunity to work with this new company and build it into a high street name. We will continue to develop and add to the existing product line and we need staff that will help and support us along the way, this is going to be an incredible journey.
Hours of work are in-line with the Centre trading times of 10:00 – 20:00 working alternate weekend and being flexible is vital.
Contract - 12 Month contract with a 3 Month probationary period
Salary – Competitive
Reporting to - Store Manager
Starting – Immediate for the right candidate
Main responsibilities - Support the Store Manager in the day to day activity/operations in running a small luxury store.
Deliver a first class shopping experience to its customers and build customer loyalty.
Create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for our customers at all times.
Display initiative in creating stand out window displays to attract customers.
Promote the brand at all times.
Generate sales by offering advice on the product line without over selling.
Operate POS system and take payments.
When the Store Manager is absent undertake full control of the store including cashing/locking up at the end of the day.
Requirements/experience - As this is a new company, it's important to show initiative and work with the Store Manager in meeting customer expectations. This is a luxury brand so our customers will expect first class products and service. The brand will continue to build and it's important to have someone that is willing to tackle any job, large or small and be on board at the start to maximise potential and rewards. Experience of working in a luxury retail environment is preferred but applicants who can demonstrate the ability to undertake this exciting role may apply.
You must - Demonstrate flexibility at all times in order to meet the store’s needs. Work as part of the team at all times. Build professional relationships and support the Store Manager as appropriate. Be professional all times when representing the brand.
